QUACK! is the story of a very short-sighted young man who works in a cinema and is secretly in love with the girl who runs the bakery in his neighborhood. One day he decides to invite her to dinner at his house, but suddenly he discovers that an entire community of ducks is hidden and living in there with him! Where do they come from? Why hasn’t he seen them before? Will she understand the situation or will she think he is crazy? A story of love and humor to smile at adversity and absurd situations in life.—JIMENA TELLO (Argentina) studied editorial design at the École Estienne and illustration at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. In Buenos Aires, she continued her training as an illustrator and teacher through various workshops. In 2016, she co-founded the Dos Meninas illustration workshop with Gabriela Burin. She has published several books in Argentina, France, Mexico, South Korea, Poland, China, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Spain, and has received awards such as the Banco del Libro Award (2018) and the Cuatrogatos Foundation Prize (2018).
