Parpadeo

Martín Evelson & Aldo Alcota

Erdosain | 2017 | 68 pages | 12 x 18 cm | hardcover

In a warm summer night, a man walks alone through the streets of Barcelona in search of a restaurant suggested by Riccardo, his Italian chef friend. The food is incidental: the real motive is to corroborate a literary finding there. Inside the Parpadeo bar-restaurant, its host and cook, a thick man with a strong voice from Río de la Plata like our protagonist, will unravel stories and memories in between several toasts, and among these, as a result of conversation flow, he will reveal his other trade as a writer.
