Claraboya | October 2026 | 32 PAGES | 20 × 26 CM | hardcover

A tender, funny journey into the wonderfully elastic sense of time that belongs to childhood.

This book portrays the everyday world of childhood with precision, tenderness, and humor, transforming an ordinary shopping trip into an exploration of how children experience time.

Along the way, a mother tries to balance her errands with her children’s endless questions, setting in motion a reflective, cyclical journey before night falls and “tomorrow” arrives. Concepts such as “five minutes” and “wait a bit” come to life on the pages, revealing how, for a child, the present moment can stretch or shrink depending on their level of wonder or boredom.

JUAN AUGUSTO LAPLACETTE (Argentina) is a child psychologist, university lecturer, and writer with extensive training in art, illustration, and creative writing.
