Amanda Baeza was born in 1990 and grew up between two hemispheres. Altough her drawings seem to come from another world, the comics selected for this book are based on real events and feelings. Baeza’s graphic personality is rare – so distinct and at the same time so mutable, and even rarer is the way in which her words and images create original narratives and visual poems. She currently lives in Lisbon and her work has been exhibited in Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Finland, Sweden and USA.
