Katya Gushchina’s first title in a series of biographical comics about Russian writers was dedicated to Leo Tolstoy’s tears. The second is about a more complex character — Maxim Gorky and the decades around the October Revolution. Gushchina uses dreams of flying and autobiographical Gorky’s stories as a metaphor to explore the life of such a renowned Russian writer and socialist political thinker from a different angle.
A graphic novel about Maxim Gorky, beautifully designed and illustrated!
