Ecotopias brings together many of these initiatives, highlighting the importance of stories and images that help us imagine new ways of organizing life in common to face the ecosocial crisis. Imagining a better world is the first step toward making it real.
Kois Fdez. Casadevante (Spain) is a sociologist, international expert in food sovereignty, and activist in local community movements. He currently works as a consultant for municipalities and institutions, developing innovation projects and applied research on ecosocial transitions.
Joan Negrescolor (Spain) is an award-winning illustrator, best known for his beautiful albums Animal City and I, Alfonsina (Orfeu Negro). His work has been distinguished by many international prizes, such as the Junceda and Golden Pinwheel awards.
