Marta Monteiro (Portugal) graduated in Fine Art Sculpture at the Oporto University. She lives in Penafiel and works as a teacher, illustrator, animator and film director. Her illustrations were selected for the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2017. She collaborates with several publications and publishers, such as The New York Times, Goucher Magazine, Vogue US, Pato Lógico, La Nuova Fronteira, Nobrow, and has exhibited her work in Portugal, Spain, Italy and USA. Her book SHADOWS was distinguished in 2014 by Communication Arts Annual Illustration Awards.
