Catarina Sobral used to go to her secondary school through Lousã railway line. In the city where she grew up, she recalls the steam of roasted chestnuts, the stairs of Quebra-Costas and the shadow of the Botanical Garden overlooking the university’s tower. This is an inner journey, from the downtown to the outskirts of Coimbra.

MY CITY is a series which presents cities across the world to unfold and discover through the eyes of illustrators who were born or live there. Each book comprises a fold-out map and 12 places described and illustrated in a every personal way by the artists.
