The hatter and the wind

O Chapeleiro e o Vento

Catarina Sobral

APCC | 2014 | 32 pages | 17,5 x 17,5 cm | hardcover

A hatter owns a small but well-known hat shop. Clients come from all places around the world just to buy one of his creations. He invents all sorts of hats: pointed, rounded, with flowers, gems, all (un)imaginable colors, lantern-hats to find things lost in the dark, piano-hats to break the silence. His hats aren’t tight, nor heavy, nor too warm, nor too cold. And the very special thing about them is that they never get lost nor can be taken away by the wind.

But there is a hat he hasn’t yet invented… A delicate and poetic tale about desire and the ephemerality of artistic creation by the award-winning Catarina Sobral.
